Atkins Nutritionals names first diet Superstar Grand Prize Winner

Atkins Nutritionals Inc. (“Atkins™”) has named Florida resident, Cheryl Lynn Wolf, as Atkins’ first Success Story Superstar Grand Prize Winner. Cheryl’s winning entry detailed how she lost 50 pounds in three months by utilizing Atkins’ array of free online tools and delicious products to embrace her new low-carb lifestyle.

“The numbers on the scale don’t lie, and when mine said ‘180 pounds’ I had to face reality,” Cheryl said. “Atkins allowed me to lose weight without sacrificing my joy of eating. On Atkins, I feel full and am able to enjoy the foods I love. It is a plan that has changed my life for the better.”

As Atkins’ Success Story Superstar Grand Prize Winner, Cheryl and a guest will receive an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles for a photo shoot with Atkins celebrity spokesperson. Cheryl and her guest will enjoy a two-night stay at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel and a low-carb dinner at Spago Beverly Hills, as well as $5,000 shopping spree to the retailer of Cheryl’s choice.

Atkins also selected 50 year-old Lisa Marie Schadl from Iowa as the second Success Story Superstar Round 2 Winner. Lisa’s entry detailed how she lost 108 pounds by progressing through the Atkins program, adding a variety of whole foods like vegetables, fruits, even bread and pasta to create a plan that was just right for her. As an Atkins’ Round 2 winner, Lisa will receive a $5,000 shopping spree to the retailer of her choice. Lisa joins Meghan Cook fromIndiana who was selected as the winner of Round 1 of the competition in July 2011. Meghan lost 82 pounds by following the Atkins Diet™.

The weight loss stories of Cheryl and Lisa will be featured on the Atkins.com homepage beginning October 14th.
