My Story: I come from a big eating Italian family where "food is love" and was always taught that "we are just genetically big people" I was a chubby and tall kid who grew up to adopt habits of my own after trying every fad, pill, wrap & quick fix on the market that only offered a temporary solution. What I love about the low carb/sugar lifestyle is that it is not a "diet" it's a sustainable way of life and it's for absolutely EVERYONE!!! As a busy salon owner constantly on the move, being able to go longer between meals is something that not only is convenient for my job, it's friendly on my wallet when your coworkers constantly are running for takeout! Being fat adapted is freedom! I completed my first triathlon last year while not partaking in any of the traditional pre race carbs like bananas and bagels, instead, I do a big coffee with Atkins french vanilla shake and had rocket energy for hours! I also love that I can reach for these convenient items for things like dessert! Now that the sugar is out of my system, I can't even stand the taste of it! I recently went for a girls night where everyone had cheesecake and I rushed home to my famous "Atkins ice cream" that I make with the shakes, whipping cream and chopped up Atkins bars(whatever flavors I'm feeling) even my husband loves it! I am low carb for life, it's been a year and a half, and I'm never looking back!

Favorite Atkins Friendly Food: I love all the shakes and the sweet and salty trail mix!

My Goals:
As an aspiring triathlete, I struggle a lot with feeling full after strenuous training sessions. After yo-yo dieting for years, I finally found a solution, through low carb, low sugar and amazing Atkins products, to feel satiated and fueled all day long.

How Atkins Helped Get Me There: Having convenience items when I'm having a serious sweet tooth has been a life saver! I've even made birthday cakes and ice cream utilizing Atkins shakes, bars and candies!
